Foxy Production

Foxy Production is a New York art gallery founded by Michael Gillespe and John Thomson.
Foxy Production inaugurated its gallery program in January 2003 after a series of intermittent projects between 2001–2. The gallery opened in Brooklyn and then moved to Manhattan in September 2003. In January 2006 it opened a new ground floor space in west Chelsea. Gallery artists include Hany Armanious, Michael Bell-Smith, Sascha Braunig, Olga Chernysheva, Petra Cortright, Sara Cwynar, the Estate of Deborah Turbeville, Simone Gilges, Gabriel Hartley, Violet Hopkins, Stephen Lichty, David Noonan, Ester Partegàs, Sterling Ruby, Travess Smalley, and Michael Wang.
Besides its core program, the gallery has presented a number of notable curated exhibitions, including Minty (2012) by Ebony L. Haynes; Highways Connect and Divide (2011); The Phantasm (2011) by Rob McKenzie; Cloud (2011) by Gabriel Hartley; Abstract Abstract (2009); Networked Nature (2007) by Marisa Olson for Rhizome, an affiliate of the New Museum of Contemporary Art; Autonomy (2005) by Sterling Ruby; the Dare performance series (2005) by Lauren Cornell; and The Infinite Fill Show (2004) by Jamie and Cory Arcangel.
